It looks like we officially have a quarterback controversy in Gainesville. On Emory Jones’ big night, Anthony Richardson stole the show.

The second-year quarterback from Gainesville outplayed his fourth-year teammate. Richardson became Florida’s leading rusher in the Florida Atlantic game when he ran for a 73-yard touchdown, showing off blazing speed for a 6-4, 236-pounder.

Richardson ran more than he passed in his multiple appearances off the bench, going over 160 yards on the ground. As a passer, Richardson was just 3-of-8 for 40 yards.

Jones was 17-of-27 passing for 113 yards, a touchdown and 2 interceptions along with 10 rushes for 74 yards.
