Florida snagged its quarterback of the future Thursday evening.

The Gators have the No. 20 class in the nation for 2023, a pretty impressive outing for first year head coach Billy Napier.

But according to Marcus Stokes, the No. 22 QB in the 2023 cycle and a former Penn State football commit before flipping to the Gators, the class is far from done. Not if he has anything to say about it.

“I’m beyond excited to start recruiting for this class,” Stokes said via On3 Sports. “I’m ready to be a part of what we’re building here at Florida.”

Florida recently snagged a commitment from Eugene Wilson, a 4-star ATH that ranks as the No. 30 player from the state of Florida. While projected as a best fit at corner, he could be a valuable weapon for Stokes and Napier moving forward.
