Florida reportedly schedules official visit with highly-touted Belmont transfer guard
Florida has been transitioning to new coach Todd Golden, and he’s starting to put together his roster for the 2022-23 season.
A big part of that roster will likely be players from the transfer portal, and the Gators have an upcoming visit from one of the top players currently in the portal.
Per Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, Belmont transfer guard Will Richard is taking an official visit to Gainesville on April 7:
Belmont transfer Will Richard, a Top-10 transfer in the portal, has locked in his first official visit to Florida, sources told @Stockrisers. He will be in Gainesville on April 7th to begin his visit.
SMU and Tennessee are also the newest schools in the mix.

Richard appeared in 33 games for Belmont in 2021-22, starting 30 of them. He averaged 12.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
As Weingarten noted, SMU and Tennessee are also in the mix for Richard’s services, so we’ll see where he ends up this coming season.
