Of all the players to suit up for an SEC program this season, arguably no one is having a more troubling season than Adarius Lemons. The former Florida running back left Dan Mullen’s program immediately after the Gators’ loss to Kentucky and now has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of domestic battery.

Lemons even played for the Gators in the Kentucky game but immediately following the loss, tweeted out a lengthy note announcing his departure from the program and his displeasure with Mullen. Lemons later tweeted out that he plans to return to the SEC, in theory, to face off against the Gators in the future.

Well, those plans are likely on hold now as Lemons has been arrested and faces two charges of domestic battery. Lemon is facing a 1st-degree misdemeanor and a 3rd-degree felony, according to the Alachua County Jail registry: Touching or striking battery, which is a misdemeanor, and battery by strangulation which is a felony.

Lemons is also facing a charge of damaging of property in value between $200 and $1000.

Here is a full look at the charges against Lemons:

Lemons arrived in Gainesville for the 2017 season. He rushed for 136 yards on 19 carries as a true freshman and played in only one game this season before leaving the program.
