Florida QB Kyle Trask is having an incredible season. Heading into Saturday night’s game against LSU, he was considered the Heisman Odds frontrunner by many.

However, after throwing for 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in a loss to LSU, his Heisman chances took a major hit.

On Sunday morning’s SportsCenter, SEC Network host Paul Finebaum said Alabama QB Mac Jones is the new frontrunner (via 247Sports):

“Well, he’s no longer the favorite, and he was barely ahead of Mac Jones and now he’s clearly behind,” Finebaum said. “And Mac Jones has to worry about Devonta Smith on his own team but Kyle Trask has an opportunity. As tough as last night was, he plays in the featured game of the year in the SEC next week and should he just go crazy, which he’s capable of, and upset Alabama, it may not help the Gators get in the playoff but it could vault him to the Heisman Trophy. One other person to keep your eye on next weekend is Trevor Lawrence. He did not play this past weekend but if he has a monster game against Notre Dame he could give Trask and Mac Jones a run.”

As Finebaum mentions, Trask still has 1 more chance to impress voters. We’ll see how he fares in the SEC Championship Game against Alabama on Saturday.
