Is the end near for Florida head coach Jim McElwain?
Following the disastrous week filled with “death threat” comments (with no proof) and a blowout loss to rival Georgia, everyone is expecting McElwain to be out. It appears it’s just a matter of time.
During Saturday’s game, it was reported that Florida was exploring whether it could fire McElwain for cause and not have to pay his $12 million buyout.
FootballScoop reported that McElwain is meeting with UF officials Sunday morning likely to determine his fate as the head coach.
