Ricky Pearsall, Florida WR, announces plans for 2023 season
Ricky Pearsall is staying in Florida for another season.
The leading Florida receiver announced Saturday on social media that he is returning to the Gators for the 2023 season. Pearsall led the Gators in receiving yards and touchdowns in 2022 (33 catches, 661 yards, 5 TD).
I’m back…?
“The LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore He will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!”

Pearsall will be entering his fifth collegiate season. He began his career at Arizona State in 2019. After 3 seasons with the Sun Devils, he entered the transfer portal and signed with Florida. The 2020 season, which was just 4 games for Arizona State, does not count against players’ eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Florida’s 2022 regular-season finale at Florida State, Pearsall had 5 catches for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Gators will hope to see more of that in the 2023 campaign.
