Based on all Tim Tebow did for the Florida Gators when he was starring at quarterback in Gainesville, it may surprise people that he isn’t already in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame.

Though he has yet to receive that honor, he won’t have to wait much longer, as the organization announced in an email that he’d be inducted this fall as part of the 2017 class.

In a statement, the statewide sports Hall of Fame said this year’s class of five sporting legends is one of the strongest induction classes ever:

“Without question, this is one of the most talented, eclectic and accomplished classes in Florida Sports Hall of Fame history,” said Florida Sports Hall of Fame President Barry Smith. “The contributions these individuals have made within their chosen sport, to their communities, the nation and indeed on a worldwide stage, demand recognition and we are honored to welcome them as the newest members of the Florida Sports Hall of Fame.”

According to the release, Warrick Dunn (football), Chipper Jones (baseball), Tim Finchem (PGA Tour Commissioner) and Coleen Walter (LPGA) will join Tebow in the Hall of Fame class.

Tebow won two national championships and a Heisman Trophy during his time with the Gators. This summer, he helped the Port St. Lucie Mets set attendance records during his stint with the Class A baseball squad.

Tebow and the others will be inducted on Nov. 8 in Ponte Verde.
