Class of 2024 safety Jaylen Heyward announced Tuesday that he has de-committed from Georgia. He originally committed to Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs on January 23, 2023.
Heyward is one of the top secondary players in the country in the Class of 2024 cycle, holding offers from the likes of Alabama, Miami, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and so on.
Georgia still holds commitments from 4-star safeties Peyton Woodyard and Demello Jones in what is (still) currently the nation’s No. 1 overall recruiting class.
