Georgia’s brand name speaks for itself. It’s why some of the best players in the country are deciding to play for Kirby Smart down in Athens.

The Bulldogs boast the No. 1 overall recruiting class in the 2024 cycle. On Monday, the rich got richer. Justin Williams, a 5-star linebacker out of Oak Ridge HS in Conroe, Texas, officially chose the Bulldogs over Oregon.

Alabama and Texas were major players for Williams until he focused on the Bulldogs and Ducks for Monday’s announcement.

Georgia now holds verbal commitments from 3 5-star talents in the Class of 2024: Dylan Raiola, Ellis Robinson and Justin Williams.

Robinson is the No. 1 linebacker in the Class of 2024 rankings according to 247Sports’ composite. He’s also the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 3 player out of the Lone Star State.

Williams represents Georgia’s first LB pledge of the 2024 cycle, though Demarcus Riddick could potentially play linebacker for the Bulldogs in college. He’s listed as an ATH per 247Sports. Riddick is a fringe 4/5-star prospect depending on the recruiting site you reference.
