CJ Allen, elite 4-star 2023 Georgia LB, announces SEC commitment

CJ Allen is staying in the Peach State. The 4-star linebacker from Lamar County, Georgia has committed to UGA.
Allen had planned to make his commitment on July 9 but tweeted the decision Monday.

Allen, 6-1, 217 pounds, is the No. 167 overall prospect on the 247Sports Composite, which factors in rankings from On3, Rivals and ESPN. 247Sports has Allen rated No. 60 overall among 2023 recruits. Rivals, on the other hand, rates Allen the No. 50 player in the state of Georgia.
This month, Allen visited Georgia (June 3), Auburn (June 10) and Tennessee (June 17). Allen has picked up 30 scholarship offers during his recruitment.
