Jordan Davis is turning a lot of heads during the NFL Combine. His draft stock is sure to soar after he turned in a strong outing Saturday during the on-field workouts for defensive linemen.

Davis turned in an unofficial time of 4.82 seconds when he tackled the 40-yard dash. When the official time came in, Davis was even faster, clocking in at 4.78.

One person to take notice of Davis’ performance was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The former football player turned pro wrestler, Johnson noted that 4.8 speed is fast for anyone. Turning in a 4.8 time at Davis’ 341 lbs. is a… special brand of fast.

Johnson is definitely a fan of the big DL:

A unanimous All-American, national champion, and the winner of the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Outland Trophy, Davis is doing everything he needs to do to solidify his stock for April’s draft.
