Georgia has its eyes set on Saturday, when it heads to Jacksonville for the annual Cocktail Party game against Florida. This one could very well decide who represents the SEC East in Dec. 5’s SEC Championship Game, with the Dawgs looking to extend their winning streak against the Gators to 4 straight.

In his updated Top 10 rankings on Thursday, FOX Sports analyst Joel Klatt placed Georgia at No. 6. But there’s one caveat.

“I don’t want to say they’re disappointing—I’m just saying they’ve got a huge issue and that’s their offense,” he explained. “This team is clearly playoff-caliber. Their offense is not.”

According to Klatt, only one team who advanced to the College Football Playoff failed to average 30 or more points in the season they advanced to the Top 4: Michigan State in 2015, who averaged 29.8 points an outing. As Klatt noted, the Spartans were shut out by Clemson in the national semifinal, falling 38-0 to Clemson.

“Right now, here Georgia is, 29.2 points per game. So they’ve got to get better on offense. That’s a serious limiting factor for them,” said Klatt.
