The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party is always an intense game, and this year’s matchup between Georgia and Florida won’t be any different.

However, the way the two teams are going about the lead-up to the game has been very different, as the Gators are doing plenty of trash-talking while the Bulldogs have been mostly silent.

The Georgia players aren’t surprised by Florida’s trash talk, though, as they’ve heard plenty of it in the past (via 247Sports):

“That’s Florida,” sophomore S J.R. Reed said. “That’s what you expect from some teams. Some teams you don’t expect it. But it doesn’t bother me that much.”

“It’s a rivalry,” senior OLB Lorenzo Carter said. “You don’t expect anything less. There’s going to be a lot of trash-talking out there on the field too. But as long as we go out there and keep playing football, the way we’ve been playing, physical and fast, all that stuff is going to take care of itself.”

The Gators have won the last three matchups, but this year could be different, as Georgia enters with an undefeated record.

However, staying focused will be key, and it appears the Bulldogs are doing what they can to drown out the noise.
