Georgia Tech trolls Georgia on Twitter over partnership with BBQ joint from Alabama
Dreamland BBQ has locations throughout the Southeast, but when most people hear the name, they think of the original location in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
That’s why it was a little surprising to some when UGA announced Dreamland would be featured at Sanford Stadium concession stands this season.
Naturally, Georgia Tech’s Twitter account took a shot at the Bulldogs when it saw the news.
Hey, even we know Dreamland BBQ is really a @UOfAlabama thing. https://t.co/2vIJZJz326

ESPN’s Mark Schlabach hoped that Fox Bros., which can be found at the Atlanta Braves’ Sun Trust Park, turned down the offer before the Bulldogs turned to Dreamland.

While Dreamland is closely associated with Alabama and the Crimson Tide, the famous BBQ can be found at multiple Georgia locations in Duluth and Roswell as well as Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, Middle Tennessee State’s Floyd Stadium and Tallahassee, Fla.
Nothing like state BBQ pride becoming part of a football rivalry.
