Georgia-Tennessee betting: Sportsbook reportedly receives pair of 6-figure bets on UGA
Georgia-Tennessee is reportedly producing some notable big-time betting action hours before kickoff.
ESPN Chalk’s David Payne Purdum shared on Twitter Friday that Caesars Sports received a pair of 6-figure bets on Georgia to cover 7.5- and 8-point spreads against top-ranked Tennessee.
The first bet was for $110,000 and a $362,000 bet followed shortly after. Purdum confirmed both bets to be placed by sharps.
.@CaesarsSports took a $110,000 bet on Georgia -7.5 earlier today. Thirty minutes later, the book took a $362,000 bet on the Bulldogs -8.
“I would certainly say that Georgia is the sharp side in this matchup.” — Joey Feazel, lead college football trader at Caesars.#Vols #UGA

Tennessee receiving more than a touchdown has been a hot topic this week. Taking the Vols’ high-powered offense with 7-8 points has intrigued many bettors, but it appears at least some sharps are thinking the Bulldog defense will dominate.
It should be a great game on Saturday for bettors and football fans alike.
