You can’t do much better than impressing the greatest running back in Southeastern Conference history but Georgia’s recent run of tailbacks have done just that, apparently.

Herschel Walker was on location this week from Atlanta for the festivities leading up to Super Bowl LIII and he offered up some incredible praise for the running backs that have made their way through Athens in recent seasons.

Of course, one of the biggest storylines for the upcoming game centers on the fact that both starting running backs in the game came from Georgia in New England’s Sony Michel and Los Angeles’ Todd Gurley.

“I’ll tell you what, and I’ve been saying this for a long time, I think the running backs at Georgia are doing some amazing things. Not just Michel and Gurley but you got Chubb, some other guys in the league doing some good things. It’s going to be a great game,” Walker said in the clip below.

Walker even credits Georgia as “Running Back U” and claims he played so long ago, that honor has nothing to do with him.
