With George Pickens in Florida with his Georgia teammates following time in quarantine after a positive COVID-19 test, JT Daniels has arrived as well.

The Bulldogs quarterback reportedly arrived on Monday to join the team days before the Bulldogs take on Michigan in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Orange Bowl, according to 247Sports’ Jake Rowe.

Daniels, along with Pickens, was reported to have received a positive test on Tuesday. Now, the quarterback has received the all-clear and is apparently in South Florida ahead of Friday’s contest.

Of course, whether Daniels or incumbent starter Stetson Bennett IV will get the call behind center will remain a debate all the way to kickoff. Bennett, of course, has received the lion’s share of playing time this season thanks to a lat injury that sidelined Daniels earlier in the season.

Despite indications that Daniels has recovered, though, Bennett has continued in the role all the way through to the Dawgs’ loss in the SEC Championship Game.
