Justin Williams, 5-star linebacker and Georgia target, sets commitment date

Justin Williams is almost ready to announce his college decision.

The 5-star linebacker shared Wednesday that he intends to make his college commitment on July 24. He will be picking between a group of 4 finalists: Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Oregon.

Williams is an elite prospect nationally, regardless of position. He’s the No. 11 overall player and the No. 1 linebacker in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He attends Oak Ridge High School and is from Conroe, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds.

Georgia is the current favorite to land Williams’ commitment, according to multiple 247Sports Crystal Ball projections.

Williams took an official visit to Georgia last month. He also visited Oregon in June. Williams first earned an offer from the Bulldogs back in March.

Georgia is already up to 25 commits in the class of 2024, including 1 linebacker. The group is ranked No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
