The Georgia Bulldogs will likely be without a junior defensive lineman when they head into Baton Rouge to take on LSU on Saturday afternoon.

According to coach Kirby Smart, DL David Marshall is dealing with a foot injury, and his status for this week is doubtful.

Smart discussed the injury following Tuesday afternoon’s practice, which it appears Marshall missed:

In four games this season, Marshall has six tackles (one for a loss) and one pass defended. He isn’t a starter, but he provides valuable depth to the Dawgs’ defensive line.

After LSU, the Bulldogs have a bye week, so we’ll have to see if Marshall is ready to go for the big Florida game.
