Mark May and Lou Holtz used to be staples of ESPN’s college football coverage. Now, they’re off doing their own things.

On Wednesday, the duo discussed the upcoming Georgia-Clemson game, which will take place on Saturday in Charlotte.

As you can see below, May thinks the Tigers will pull off the season-opening victory:

“My question is — how is their defense going to be this season?” May said. “They only have 4 returning defensive starters. That’s going to be a key to this game. … It’s going to be close, but I’m going to go with Clemson in this game. Clemson’s going to pull it out, 27-21.”

Holtz agreed with his counterpart, saying he also has Clemson winning and covering the spread:

“I think they’re going to come back eager to be a good defensive football team,” Holtz said. “Defense is going to be the key for Clemson this year. … I think Georgia’s defense is going to be questionable. … I think it’s going to be an outstanding football game, but I pick Clemson to win this game and cover the spread, 24-20.”

Will Georgia be able to prove Holtz and May wrong and beat the Tigers? We’ll find out at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday night on ABC.
