Todd Gurley insists he wasn't injured during Rams' postseason run
With the way Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley started the 2018 season, MVP talk was certainly justified.
However, he ended the regular season in a slump, which continued in the NFC Championship Game and into the Super Bowl on Sunday evening.
Gurley finished the game with 10 carries for 35 yards and one catch for -1 yard. After the game, though, he insisted that nothing was wrong with him physically:
I asked #Rams RB Todd Gurley if he needs an extended break to get his knee fully right. “I kind of had a break low-key for the last two months. So, it’s cool. We’ll do the physicals and all that stuff tomorrow.” Does he expect to need anything surgical? “No sir.”

It’s hard to have watched the Super Bowl and not think something is wrong, so we’ll see how this offseason progresses for the former Georgia star.
For now, though, his absence during the most-important two games of the Rams’ season is a huge question mark.
