The Cleveland Browns selected former Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and he, along with No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley, will be favorites to win the Rookie of the Year award.

However, FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd thinks a different Cleveland Brown — former Georgia RB Nick Chubb — will take home the trophy.

In the video below, Cowherd makes his case for Chubb, who is the SEC’s No. 2 all-time leading rusher:

“I think Nick Chubb is going to be the Rookie of the Year in the NFL, not Baker Mayfield,” he said. “First of all, he has the second-most rushing yards in SEC history. That’s really impressive. I think he’s hard to bring down, you can hand the ball to him a ton, he’s got a burst. He’s going to be a dynamic player.

“Between Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield, this is not an offense that wants the quarterback throwing the ball 38 times a game.”

Cowherd also listed Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (Alabama) and Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (Texas A&M) as players to watch.

If Chubb does win the award, it’ll be the second year in a row an SEC runner has won it, following in the footsteps of Alvin Kamara last year.
