Though Bill Goldberg’s football career didn’t go as well as he would have liked after he was a talented defensive tackle for the Georgia Bulldogs, his second career was legendary.

On Friday night, Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, a great honor for one of the most dominant wrestlers ever to step into the ring.

Below, the ex-Bulldog thanks his wife and son for inspiring him to be great during his Hall of Fame speech:

Goldberg played for the Bulldogs in the late 1980s, and was selected in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL Draft.

He became a full-time wrestler in 1996 and wrestled as recently as 2017. Now, he’s immortalized in the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class.
