Update: Per multiple reports, Zamir White suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season.

5-star RB Zamir White was a huge part of Georgia’s top-rated 2018 recruiting class. He was the No. 1 running back in the country and the No. 9 player overall, per the 247Sports composite.

White, though, missed most of his senior high school season with a torn ACL, but was apparently recovered enough this summer to take part in drills and scrimmages.

However, on Saturday, it was reported that White went down with a non-contact injury, which occurred in his left knee:

Since the severity is not yet known, Georgia coaches and fans will be holding out hope that it’s not a torn ACL, especially since White tore his right ACL last year.

Still, this is bad news coming out of Georgia’s camp, and we’ll have to see what the final diagnosis is in the coming days.
