Kentucky LB Eli Brown recorded six tackles (one for a loss) in Saturday night’s win over South Carolina, but he did so while battling cramping issues.

As the 3-0 Wildcats prepare for another important SEC East game this weekend, Brown is taking every precaution to make sure he doesn’t have cramps again.

He told reporters on Wednesday that he’s eating as many dill pickles as he can to get his muscles ready for this week’s game:

Potassium is also something that aids in cramp prevention, so maybe Brown will chow down on a few bananas this week as well.

Either way, the Wildcats will need him this weekend as they try to snap Florida’s 30-year winning streak over them.

With star LB Jordan Jones likely out with an injury, Brown will be counted on to fill in once again. Check out the game on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.
