Thanks to recent renovations to Commonwealth Stadium, the home of the Wildcats and the football program’s facilities received a major facelift during the offseason. However the aesthetic upgrades to the stadium won’t be the only thing fans have to look forward to this season, as the school’s official website announced a new ticketing offer that’s quite unique.

Kentucky is now offering a package known as the “Pocket Pass” that will be unique to the SEC this season. For $175, Wildcat fans will have access to one digital-only ticket to every home game, however each game will feature a new seat location, giving fans the opportunities to experience the stadium from seven different viewpoints from all around Commonwealth Stadium.

The school is only offering 500 Pocket Passes this season and are guaranteeing at least two lower bowl seats this season with purchase of the pass.

According to Jon Hale of the Courier-Journal, Kentucky season ticket sales are down significantly at this year compared to 2015. It’s unclear whether that indicates a lack of faith in the direction of the program under Mark Stoops or simply a perceived weak home slate that Kentucky faces. The home slate includes games against Southern Miss, New Mexico State and Austin Peay in the non-conference and South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and Georgia in league play.

If you are a Wildcat fan looking for an excuse to buy some cheap tickets this season, the Pocket Pass looks to be well worth exploring.
