Believe it or not, the only quarterback that has been selected to advance to the final round of the Elite 11 Finals that is pledged to play for an SEC school is committed to Kentucky. Jarren Williams made the cut and has earned his place among the final list of 11 quarterbacks headed to The Opening. The full list was released Monday following a three-day quarterback Elite 11 competition final held in in Southern California.

Three weeks ago, Williams recommitted to Kentucky after decommitting from the school’s latest recruiting class. The 6-foot-2, 206-pound Williams currently ranks as a three-star prospect but does hold scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU and Florida State among others.

Williams and 10 others will now compete in the final leg of the competition for the right to be named 2017 Elite 11 MVP leading up to Nike’s annual The Opening Finals camp held at Nike world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

Bleacher Report tweeted out a video announcing the finalists headed to Nike world headquarters for The Opening Finals:

Here’s Jarren Williams’ latest high school highlight reel. Judging by his growing offer list and performance this summer during the camp circuit, it’s easy to imagine his senior highlight reel will be even more impressive.
