Kentucky is expected to lose one of its most experienced wide receivers, as there are reports out from the Lexington Herald-Leader and Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio that Clevan Thomas is headed to the transfer portal.

Thomas has appeared in 29 career games with 8 starts, and didn’t see any action last season because of a torn ACL he suffered in spring practice. Thomas joins fellow wide receiver Earnest Sanders, offensive lineman RJ Adams and defensive back Rickey Hyatt as Kentucky scholarship players who have entered the transfer portal since spring practice concluded.

Thomas is a 5-foot-11 and 193-pound graduate student from Miami, Florida.
