The Kentucky Wildcats were originally scheduled to visit Eastern Michigan next season as part of a home-and-home series with the Eagles.

What Kentucky was doing scheduling a home-and-home with EMU is a fair question, but now it appears the game will be held in Lexington, as will the 2020 game.

Per Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, Kentucky has bought out that game (at the request of EMU, it’s worth noting) and will instead bring the contest to Lexington:

All four of Kentucky’s 2019 non-conference games are now at home, against Toledo, Eastern Michigan, UT Martin and Louisville.

With eight home games next season (and only four SEC road games), the Wildcats have a favorable schedule and will get to play in front of the Kroger Field faithful plenty of times.
