In a bit of shocking news on Monday, Purdue center Matt Haarms entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal.
A number of elite teams are sure to be in the mix for his services, and it is certainly possible that the Kentucky Wildcats join the list of squads contacting Haarms.
One member of Kentucky’s highly-rated 2020 recruiting class — 5-star guard Terrence Clarke — made it clear on Twitter on Monday that he’d like to see Haarms in Lexington:

Clarke is currently part of Kentucky’s top-rated recruiting class, but that class doesn’t have a center in it.
Haarms appeared in 29 games for Purdue this past season, starting 15 of them. He averaged 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
