Will Levis enjoyed a wildly impressive NFL debut on Sunday for the Tennessee Titans against the Atlanta Falcons.

Levis is the first Titans QB with 4 TD passes since Ryan Tannehill at Houston in week 18 of 2021. He’s the first rookie and debut QB to do it since Marcus Mariota in the 2015 opener at Tampa Bay, per Steve Layman. What’s more, Levis’ 4th touchdown doubled the number of TD passes that incumbent starter Tannehill had through 6 games, and he did it with 6:59 left to play. That put the Titans up 28-16.

Levis also put his name next to Tim Couch among former Kentucky quarterbacks with excellent performances in the NFL. He’s the first former Wildcat to have 3 touchdowns in an NFL regular season game since Couch did it in 2002.

Levis finished 19-for-29 passing for 238 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. He was sacked twice, and also rushed for 11 yards.
