The LSU Tigers need to replace QB Danny Etling before the start of he 2018 season, with sophomores Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse the front runners for the job.
However, on Thursday, coach Ed Orgeron made some interesting comments about the job, saying the Tigers could explore adding a transfer.
He also said one of the LSU quarterbacks could leave following the spring practice session:
Orgeron, as he's said before, says #LSU could bring in a transfer QB over the summer. He hints that one of his QBs may leave after spring.
"We’re going to see what happens this spring. Going to discuss that after spring."

Orgeron has said he doesn’t anticipate naming a starter until summer, but if either Brennan or Narcisse leaves following the spring, it would seem to make the decision easier.
Coach O has a delicate situation on his hands, and the way he handles it could determine a lot about how successful the Tigers are this fall.
