Ed Orgeron told reporters on Monday that LSU is looking to be back at full strength on Saturday against Auburn. That includes left tackle Cam Wire who Orgeron said could be back for the game.

If that’s the case, it would be the first time LSU would have the starting offensive line together since Week 1 against UCLA. Wire started in LSU’s season-opening loss to UCLA but left the game after he suffered an apparent knee injury and has since missed time.

Orgeron also said that All-American cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. will see a doctor this week, and there’s no update on his injury status.

Stingley didn’t play last week against Mississippi State after he was described as questionable leading up to the game. Stingley is dealing with a foot injury, but is expected to be a top 10 NFL draft pick next spring, and arguably the best cornerback in this upcoming draft class.
