The CFP title game is only hours away, so naturally, analysts are making their final statements and predictions about the game.

SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy broke down his keys to the game on ESPN, and he is focusing on something other than the high-powered offenses.

McElroy said he thinks the defenses will be key. Particularly which one will be able to come up with a stop in a critical situation (via 247Sports):

“I think it’s gonna come down to which defense is able to make key stop,” he said. “Both offenses, when you look at how their quarterbacks are playing, how they can establish the run and beat you through the air, I think both defenses are gonna have their hands full.

“Just looking at the wide receiver personnel, the running back personnel and, of course, the quarterbacks on both teams who are both excellent.”

Which team will be able to get that key stop? It won’t be easy against QBs like Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow.
