Ka’Morreun Pimpton, who was committed to Vanderbilt since July 26, flipped on Wednesday to LSU, he announced on Instagram.

Pimpton was recruited to LSU by Mike Denbrock and Joe Sloan. He is from Fort Worth, Texas (North Crowley).

At the time of his commitment to Vanderbilt, Pimpton had a reported 12 offers, and was a 3-star recruit as the No. 31 tight end in the country in this class, and the No. 110 player in the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite. Pimpton was recruited to Vanderbilt by Justin Lustig and Joey Lynch.

Now he’s a 4-star recruit, and the No. 16 tight end prospect in the country, and the No. 54 player in the state of Texas.

Pimpton is the third tight end to commit to LSU’s 2023 class, after 3-star recruit Jackson McGohan and 4-star recruit Mac Markway. He visited LSU on Dec. 9, according to 247Sports.
