Kansas City’s first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft will be sporting a new number in the NFL.

After wearing No. 22 for LSU, Clyde Edwards-Helaire will be wearing No. 25 to start his NFL career in Kansas City.

Don’t look for the 32nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to be disappointed with this news, as the rookie runner was recently found out that Chiefs quarterback Pat Mahomes asked the team to select him in the draft.

A day after selecting Edwards-Helaire in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the team revealed the rookie’s jersey number with the following post.
