Add another name to the LSU coaching search. It should be familiar.
Baylor head coach Dave Aranda was cited as a possible replacement for Ed Orgeron, who has agreed to a separation with LSU according to multiple reports.
Aranda should be a candidate. He took over a program that faced a wide-ranging scandal and has had success. Aranda’s Bears were 2-7 in 2020 but have improved to 6-1 this season. Aranda was also the defensive coordinator for LSU from 2016 through the 2019 season, when the Tigers won a national championship. After the 2019 season, Aranda left to take the head coaching job at Baylor.
If he wasn't already, Dave Aranda is becoming an LSU candidate.

Aranda also had a successful run as a defensive coordinator at Wisconsin. At one point during his tenure, the Badgers’ defense was ranked No. 2 in the nation.
