LSU fans react to Tigers’ awesome new color-changing helmet, alternate uniforms for Week 8
By Adam Spencer

The LSU Tigers announced this week that they’d be wearing special alternate uniforms for the Week 8 home matchup against Mississippi State.
The uniforms pay homage to the lost 1918 season (during which no games were played due to World War I), and come complete with color-changing helmets.
Though LSU’s normal uniforms are iconic and classic, these Week 8 alternates are definitely worthy of being thrown into the mix this year.
Below, you can see some of the reactions from media members and fans, who are mostly excited for the new-look Tigers this weekend:
I’m not a huge advocate for changing traditional uniforms, but I must say… these are AMAZING. Nice job, @LSUFBEquipment and @LSUfootball! Excited to be in Death Valley tomorrow night! https://t.co/VeY5caZofG

I’ve been waiting along time for that color to be represented on the helmet. Very nice LSU! https://t.co/CdRg6Qsvb0

Love LSU’s traditional white on yellow but I’ve got to say, these pics look like Nike knocked it out of the park. Can’t wait to see the helmet under the lights. I still contend going to the “Old Gold” over the mustard yellow on a full time basis would be ?
