LSU has found its quarterback commit for the 2019 recruiting cycle as Alabama native Peter Parrish gave his pledge to the Tigers on Friday.

The four-star Phenix City, Ala., native is rated as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the nation and the No. 315 overall recruit in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Parrish currently holds scholarship offers from Florida, Mississippi State, Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia Tech and FAU among others.

Parrish measures in at 6-foot-1, 198-pounds and runs a 4.66 40-yard dash. He passed for 1,454 yards and 17 touchdowns with an additional 697 yards and 14 scores on the ground for Central High School as a junior.

Following this announcement, the Tigers now hold 14 total commitments in the 2019 recruiting cycle. Seven of LSU’s 14 commits are now ranked as four- or five-star recruits.
