LSU saw its 3rd player since the season ended enter the transfer portal on Wednesday.

Freshman forward Corneilous Williams announced his decision to exit the program on social media. He was a 2022 signee but did not appear in any games this past season, instead taking a redshirt year. He’ll have 4 years to play at his next stop.

A 6-foot-9 big man from Meridian, Mississippi, Williams was a 3-star prospect out of the 2022 class. He was the first high school signee at LSU for coach Matt McMahon, but a shoulder injury in the preseason forced him to miss the entire season.

He initially chose the Tigers over offers from Houston, VCU, Murray State, and Tulsa, among others.

The Tigers have also lost forward Kendal Coleman and guard Justice Hill to the portal since the 60-day window opened on March 13. The Tigers currently have 9 scholarship players returning for the 2023-24 season.
