Taylor has yet to use a redshirt, but the NCAA does not count 2020 against players’ eligibility due to COVID-19’s impact on the season, meaning he has 2 full seasons to play.
Taylor, from Grand Junction, Colorado, signed with LSU over 25 other scholarship offers. At LSU, Taylor played in 32 games, making 7 starts.
As a freshman, he made 7 appearances (2 starts) recording 6 catches for 36 yards. Last season, Taylor made 3 starts over 12 games, logging 6 catches for 68 yards and the first touchdown of his career in LSU’s win over Mississippi State. In 2022, Taylor appeared in all 13 games, making, 2 starts, posting 5 catches for 55 yards.
Taylor may be best remembered for having his shoe thrown in the 2020 Florida game.
