Mater Dei LB Raesjon Davis out of California is currently LSU’s highest-ranked class of 2021 commitment on the 247Sports Composite. With California’s high school football season delayed from fall 2020 to spring 2021, Davis was faced with having to decide whether to play his senior high school season or enroll early at LSU. Davis shared Friday that he’ll remain in high school for the spring semester.

“As many may know, I will be finishing off my high school career at Mater Dei. I won’t be enrolling early at Louisiana State University. We have some unfinished business and I plan on bringing a championship back to Mater Dei. Thank you God for a blessed opportunity,” Davis wrote in a note posted on his Twitter account.
