When it comes to asking for advice on playing quarterback in the NFL, there’s no one better to ask than Peyton Manning.

So, that’s who Joe Burrow reached out to last week to ask for advice on how to handle his rookie season, according to Manning himself on SportsCenter.

Per Adam Schefter, Manning shared the advice he gave to the LSU star and likely No. 1 overall pick, as well as joking that he’d be OK if Burrow wanted to break his rookie-year interception record:

Throwing 28 interceptions is a lot. Burrow only threw 11 in his 2 seasons at LSU. But hey, if throwing 28 picks as a rookie leads to Manning’s career, perhaps Burrow should consider it!

We’ll see on Thursday if Burrow is indeed the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
