A former LSU Tiger appears to be returning to the cat family.

NFL free agent linebacker Kevin Minter, who played at LSU from 2009-12, will sign a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

During his career with the Tigers, Minter recorded 206 tackles, 18.5 tackles for a loss and five sacks. He was named a first-team All-American after his junior season, in which Minter registered 130 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss and four sacks. Minter opted to forgo his senior season and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Minter played sparingly over his first two seasons in Arizona, but he started every game for the Cardinals the last two years. During his NFL career, Minter has 223 tackles and five sacks.
