Texas A&M fan facing multiple charges after slapping kid at Tiger Stadium
A Houston man is facing 2 charges following an incident in a suite at the Texas A&M-LSU game on Saturday night.
The man, Brandon Scott, 40, allegedly slapped a 14-year-old.
Arrest documents said Tiger Athletic Foundation employees saw the incident shortly before 9 p.m. and they alerted the law enforcement officers working security detail at the level one suites, WBRZ reported. Officers reported that Scott was very intoxicated, and arrest documents said Scott had “extremely slurred speech, altered gait and a very strong smell of alcohol on his breath,” while an officer was interviewing him.
A witness told law enforcement Scott was sitting, and then he jumped from his seat and lunged to hit the teenager.
The 14-year-old told officers he and his friends were trying to talk to Scott during the game, and tried to take a picture of Scott “when Scott responded, he became agitated and began cursing.” The slap came when the teens tried to take the picture.
