What Ed Orgeron said with LSU trailing Auburn 14-10 at halftime
The LSU Tigers got off to a great start against Auburn on Saturday, taking a 10-0 lead in the early going.
However, by halftime, LSU found itself trailing 14-10 as Auburn scored 14 unanswered points to take the lead.
Doing a radio interview at halftime, Coach O said penalties and drops were hurting the Tigers, adding that he expects the game to be close throughout:
Coach O halftime radio:
"It’s going to be a battle. We’ve got to play for 60 minutes. We’ve got to eliminate the penalties in certain situations."#LSU— Scott Rabalais (@RabalaisAdv) September 15, 2018
More Coach O halftime radio …
On #LSU offense:
"We have to capitalize in the red zone. We have to make more plays in the red zone. The O-line is doing a good job protecting. We’ve got to catch the ball."
"Go Tigahs!"— Scott Rabalais (@RabalaisAdv) September 15, 2018
Auburn blew a lead against LSU last year, so there’s no reason to think it isn’t a possibility this year, too.
However, Coach O’s Tigers are going to have to do a better job on offense if they’re going to walk out of Jordan-Hare Stadium with a victory.
