Jim Harbaugh continues to have an awful record against Michigan’s biggest rivals
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines entered Saturday’s rivalry game at Michigan State ranked No. 6 in the country with a perfect 7-0 record.
However, Michigan State was ranked No. 8 in the nation and also had a 7-0 record. In one of the most exciting games of the year, the Spartans earned a 37-33 rivalry game victory.
That means Harbaugh’s struggles against Michigan’s 2 biggest rivals — Michigan State and Ohio State — continues to be comically bad.
He’s currently 3-9 against the Spartans and Buckeyes overall, with a 3-4 mark against Michigan State and an 0-5 mark against Ohio State:
Jim Harbaugh now has a combined 3-9 record against Michigan State and Ohio State.
You hate to see it.

The record speaks for itself. Jim Harbaugh is winless against Ohio State and he’s struggled with Michigan State as well. The Harbaugh era has been so underwhelming. https://t.co/GBWc2bHmku

Yes, Michigan was 7-0 entering Saturday’s game, but that hardly matters now. Harbaugh’s inability to beat the Wolverines’ biggest rivals will have fans antsy moving forward.
