Things aren’t going so well for coach Joe Moorhead and the Mississippi State Bulldogs this year, outside of a blowout win over Arkansas this past weekend.

Now, it is taking a toll on their recruiting class, as a JUCO defender has decided to re-open his recruitment.

As you can see below, JUCO DE Davontae McCrae announced he was decommitting from the Bulldogs:

He announced he would be signing with whatever team he chooses on Dec. 16, so we’ll stay tuned to see where he ends up.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, McCrae is the No. 8 JUCO strong-side defensive end and the No. 14 overall JUCO prospect from the state of Florida.

The Bulldogs now have 21 players in their 2020 class, which currently ranks No. 20 in the nation and No. 8 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
