Mississippi State loses starting DB to transfer portal, per report
Decamerion Richardson is reportedly set to enter the transfer portal after 4 seasons in Starkville.
Richardson has started all of the Bulldogs’ last 25 games across the past 2 seasons. He made 1 start in 2021 as well and has seen action in 45 total games for the Bulldogs.
Across that time, Richardson has totaled 177 tackles with 10 pass deflections, 1 fumble recovery, 1 tackle for loss and 1 sack. This past season Richardson finished with 79 tackles and 7 pass deflections.

Mississippi State has now seen 4 defensive backs enter the portal. CB DeCarlos Nicholson, safety Corey Ellington and safety Will James entered the portal just after the end of the season.
